ONLINE APPLICATION

• Applicants please visit the website of School of International Education (SIE) of UIBE at http://sie.uibe.edu.cn or http://www.uibe.cn. Please read through Programs’ introductions and Application Guides then click Apply Online for application. Each applicant should click Apply Online and create an account with a valid personal e-mail address, and one e-mail address can be only registered once. The system will automatically send an activation link to the registered e-mail box, and then applicants can continue the application process after the link has been activated. Please keep in mind the account name and password.

• Please follow the instructions and fill out personal information, learning program, guarantor information, etc. At the last page, please click “submit” to finish the online application form.

• After that, please print out the application form, and sign it appropriately. Applicants shall submit application form and other materials required according to the applied program by upload to the online application system, or, by post, e-mail, fax or hand documents in person to the Admissions Office, School of International Education of UIBE and pay the application fee by cash or bank transfer (The application fee is non-refundable).

• School of International Education will start the verification of applicants' application materials and admission. Applicants can apply on-campus accommodation through online application system upon the confirmation of acceptance.

• Special Reminder: While making bank transfer, agency or applicant shall mark clearly agency name or applicant's passport name, passport number and SIE account code (108) in the remittance bill or slip and then send the copy to Admissions Office by fax or e-mail (sie@uibe.edu.cn) immediately for enrollment confirmation. Otherwise, the regular enrollment procedure will be affected.

ADMISSION CONFIRMATION

• Applicants can follow up the application progress through our online application system. Once the admission is confirmed, advance payment of tuition fee should be paid in time to validate the following study. Advance payment for intensive preparatory course for Bachelor programs and intensive Chinese is RMB 3000, and for other non-degree programs it is RMB 2,000. Advanced payment for degree program offered in Chinese is RMB 4000, for degree programs offered in English it is RMB 10,000. Students can pay cash in person at our university or transfer by bank. The fee will go directly to tuition fee after registration. The advanced tuition fee is non-refundable. After receiving the advance payment, the school will prepare for students the Visa Application form (JW202 form), Admission Notice and other documents which will be sent to the address specified in the application form before semester begins. If applicants want to pick up the admission documents in school, he/she should mark it out in the Application Form.

• Having got the admission documents, applicants can go to the Chinese Embassy or Administration of Exit and Entry of Beijing Public Security Bureau to apply for student visa (students are suggested to keep copies of the admission documents just in case). Please come to School of International Education, UIBE to register, sign up, get insurance and pay the total tuition fee on the dates stated in Admission Notice.
